Celtic Roots Studio - Bog oak sculpture

Drawing on the Irish landscape for their inspiration, the artists of Celtic Roots create sculptural pieces of contemporary beauty and ancient meaning, linking Ireland’s vibrant present with the natural richness of its distant past. From bog oak, yew and pine – all of it almost five millennia old – they hand craft elegant shapes and dramatic forms, the lines of a landscape and its people.

To their classic range of unique sculptural and gift items, Celtic Roots have recently added a stunning new line of fashionable home lighting. The studio also has a complete commissioning service for awards and lifesize indoor and outdoor sculpture. In 2006, Celtic Roots created prizes for the Ryder Cup Senior Players and the Christy O’Connor Lifetime Achievement Award.
